The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Tuesday the team has released national kicker Tyler Crapigna.

Crapigna had been with the Roughriders for the past four years but missed all of last season with an injury.

Brett Lauther took over for an injured Crapigna last season and performed well.

The 26-year-old McMaster product has a career 86.4 field goal percentage and a long of 53.
