[SurroundSound] Re: Converting Multichannel files to DTS?

The excellent anything-to-anything audio converter, Xrecode3, has recently added DTS-encoding to its  artillery.
I must warn, however, that when I tried it, the resulting DTS file would not play on my system (an ancient external JVC surround receiver), but maybe that's just the era of DTS decoding built into that hardware.  The author assures me the DTS-encoded files play fine on his system.

Worth a try, anyway.

How does one convert multichannel files to DTS? Is there some easy to use windows software that doesn't involve using the command line? Preferably freeware!
