JETS (27-18-8) at CANUCKS (27-18-3)

TV: TSN3, SNP

Season series: The Winnipeg Jets and the Vancouver Canucks each went 1-1-1 in the 2013-14 series. Canucks forward Alexandre Burrows had two goals and an assist. Winnipeg Jets forward Andrew Ladd had a goal and two assists.

Jets team scope: Winnipeg was defeated by the Calgary Flames 5-2 on Monday and have lost four games in a row for the first time since a four-game losing streak from Oct. 11-19. The Jets have allowed five goals in each of the four games. "No one is hitting the panic button yet," forward Bryan Little said, according to the Jets website. "There is lots of hockey left in the season so we have to keep our heads up. … We have to stick with it and get out heads in it and come out hard [Tuesday]." The Jets are the most penalized team in the League and have allowed eight power-play goals in 16 chances in their past four games. "We're on the penalty kill too much and sooner or later, you are going to crack," forward Blake Wheeler said. "It's been a cause for concern, both being in the box and not being able to kill them off and hopefully we can just stay out of there." Goalie Michael Hutchinson has struggled, allowing 13 goals in his past three starts. Ladd has two goals and six assists in his past seven games.

Canucks team scope: Goalie Ryan Miller has made seven straight starts and could sit in favor of backup Eddie Lack (3-6-2, 2.61 goals-against average, .912 save percentage) on Tuesday. "There's probably a chance," Canucks coach Willie Desjardins told the Canucks website. He also said forward Zack Kassian, who was a healthy scratch in a 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday, could return to the lineup. This is the fourth game of a six-game homestand for the Canucks, who will also host the San Jose Sharks and Pittsburgh Penguins this week. "We have to respond. … We've got to find a way to raise our intensity level," Desjardins said. "We're going to get pushed, we will see these next games as tough games for us, the style and the teams that are there." Forward Henrik Sedin has 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) in his past 17 games.
