Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson has agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension Monday, according to the club. The extension puts him under contract until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The average annual value of the deal, which starts next season, is $4.2 million. He will make 4.75 million in each of the first two years of the deal before finishing the pact with a $3.1 million salary in the final year.

Ottawa also signed goalie Robin Lehner to a new deal this season, meaning the Senators enter the 2014-15 season with its top two goalies under multi-year contracts.

Anderson, 33, was 25-16-8 in 53 games last season with a a 3.00 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage. He also had four shutouts. In 158 regular-season games with Ottawa, he is 81-52-17 with a 2.62 GAA and 12 shutouts. In the Stanley Cup Playoffs, he has made 17 appearances with Ottawa, going 8-8 with a 2.59 GAA and .923 save percentage.

He has also played with the Chicago Blackhawks, who drafted him in 2001, the Florida Panthers and Colorado Avalanche during his 12-year career. He is 168-135-38 in 371 career games with 2.75 GAA and 915 save percentage. He also has 26 career shutouts.
