I was just going through a box of stuff and came across a “2007 DTS-HD Master Audio Presentation Disc.” I must’ve picked it up at CES several years ago. I never tried playing it, because at that time I didn’t own a Blu-ray player or drive for my PC.
I’ve long since purchased Blu-ray drives, so I can now play it. This disc has 2 DTS-HDMA tracks from BT’s album This Binary Universe and they sound great. Does anyone know if this album was ever released in a higher resolution format than DVD/DTS? It would be nice to get the full album in this quality.
The disc also has samples from Peter Gabriel’s DVD ‘Growing Up Live’ and Pat Metheny’s DVD ‘The Way Up’. Does anyone know if these are available in Blu-ray?
