LONDON, Ont. -- Bo Horvat, Tyler Ferry and Ryan Rupert each had a goal and an assist as the London Knights extended their winning streak to 17 games with a 5-2 victory over the visiting Niagara IceDogs on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Alex Broadhurst, Ryan Rupert and Matt Rupert also scored for the Knights (25-5-2) and Jake Patterson turned away 34-of-36 shots for the win.
Brett Ritchie scored twice for the IceDogs (19-11-2), who have dropped back-to-back games, and Christopher Festarini made 30 saves in a losing cause.
London went 1 for 1 on the power play while Niagara failed to earn any chances with the man advantage.
The Knights have a chance to tie their club record of 18 straight victories, which was set on Dec. 8th, 2004, on Sunday when they host the Mississauga Steelheads.
