Professional football's all-time leading passer is coming back for another year.
Anthony Calvillo announced on Monday that he will return for his 15th season with the Montreal Alouettes and 19th overall.
"I'm very excited to come back and be a part of this great team and organization," said Calvillo. "We had a solid team last season and I know that we will be competitive yet again with the level talent on our roster."
In 2011, Calvillo led the league in passing yards (5,251) and touchdown passes (32), while throwing only eight interceptions - the lowest among CFL starters.
"Last season was a special one for me and I'm really looking forward to rejoining my teammates and working towards winning another Grey Cup," said the 39-year-old quarterback.
Calvillo also made history on three separate occasions in 2011, becoming the CFL's all-time touchdown and completions leader before being crowned pro football's all-time leading passer.
