Two-time Stanley Cup champion forward Trevor Lewis announced his retirement from the National Hockey League on Wednesday.

Lewis last played with the Los Angeles Kings in 2024-25, where he scored six goals with 12 points in 60 games.

A first-round pick (17th overall) by Los Angeles in 2006, Lewis helped the Kings win two Stanley Cup titles in 2012 and 2014.

He played in his 1,000th NHL game on Jan. 4, 2025 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Internationally, he represented the United States twice, winning bronze medals at the 2007 World Juniors and 2015 World Championships.

The Salt Lake City, Utah native skated in 1,034 career NHL games, scoring 104 goals with 237 points, split between the Kings, Winnipeg Jets and Calgary Flames.
