When the Winnipeg Jets return from the Olympic break, they may be accompanied by some reinforcements.

Head coach Scott Arniel spoke to reporters on Tuesday and provided an update on a trio of blue-liners.

Colin Miller was back on the ice skating and will do an IR skate on Wednesday, and Neal Pionk, who had also been considered week-to-week leading into the Olympic break, is considered a possibility to play for Winnipeg on its upcoming road trip, according to Arniel.

Meanwhile, Haydn Fluery, who was stretched off the ice on Jan. 7 after a hard hit and fall, remains out for the foreseeable future and is still considered week-to-week. Arneil said the defenceman is getting better, but will need time to get his conditioning back up.

Miller has been out of the lineup since suffering a lower-body injury on Dec. 21. He's logged one assist and a minus-8 mark through 15 games this season.

Pionk hasn't suited up since Jan. 13 due to a lower-body injury after he blocked a shot with his foot two games prior to being sidelined. The 30-year-old put up two goals and six assists through 40 games before his injury absence.

As for Fluery, the 29-year-old is pointless through 17 games this season.

The Jets return to action on Feb. 25 as they visit the Vancouver Canucks to begin a three-game road trip.
