TV: 7 p.m. ET; FS-O, TVA Sports, CITY, NHL.TV

Season series: The Ottawa Senators have won two games against the Columbus Blue Jackets, outscoring them 10-3. Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson has two goals and seven assists. Goaltender Craig Anderson made 38 saves in a 7-3 win and 25 saves in a 3-0 win.

Senators team scope: Ottawa practiced Friday following a 4-3 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday. Coach Dave Cameron said the Senators addressed special teams; they are last in the NHL killing penalties (73.8 percent). They scored two power-play goals Thursday but gave up three to the Avalanche. "It's frustrating, but it's a work in [progress]," Cameron told the Senators website. Ottawa has lost its two games since acquiring defenseman Dion Phaneuf in a nine-player trade Tuesday; Phaneuf had two assists Thursday. Ottawa has lost its past three road games and is 3-7-0 in its past 10 games.

Blue Jackets team scope: Columbus activated defenseman David Savard off injured reserve on Friday. Savard missed 11 games after sustaining an oblique strain on Jan. 13. Rookie goaltender Joonas Korpisalo has started the past eight games (5-1-2). The Blue Jackets' past four games have been decided by one goal, including a 4-3 shootout win against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday. "That's probably one of the better games we've played since I've been here," coach John Tortorella told The Columbus Dispatch. "We didn't go in the back door. We didn't depend on Korpisalo as much as we have in some of the games we've gotten points in. We deserved that outcome."
