[SurroundSound] Free download: Secret Friend - Time Machine 5.1 Surround Sampler

Please excuse me while I do just a little self promotion...

For anyone not familiar with Secret Friend, it's my own musical project. The musical style is perhaps most influenced by McCartney, Nilsson, Brian Wilson, and especially, 1970's pop. I'm the songwriter, and this debut album was recorded in Hollywood last year, produced appropriately enough by Linus of Hollywood. It features Willie Wisely and Kelly Jones on vocals, and a bunch of top LA session musicians, including a string quartet and even a Batucada drum ensemble. Recently I had three of the album tracks remixed into 5.1 surround and am offering them as a free download. Hopefully this will spur a few people into checking out the entire album. These three surround songs are arguably not the strongest songs on the album, but they were chosen because they had the most potential for a cool surround remix. So if you like these three songs, you'll probably like the full (stereo) album too. I don't have any previous professional musical experience, so this has all been a pretty exciting venture for me. I'm currently working on the next album.

This download is free, and I want to encourage everyone to please copy and share it, everywhere. That includes the sharing on the hub, blogs, forums, Facebook, etc. It's already on a couple torrent sites.

If I could ask for a small favor, I don't hang out on other forums like QQ or SHMF, so if someone wants to post about this release there (or at other forums) it would be very much appreciated. I want to get as much exposure as possible on this release, and I'm sure other audiophiles and surround sound fans will also dig it.

BTW, anyone who downloaded the pre-release version I posted here last week, please delete it and grab this final version.
