The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors got down to business in the third period Friday night.

Casey Cizikas and Joe Cramarossa scored 32 seconds apart early in the final period and goaltender JP Anderson had his first shutout of the season as the Majors blanked the struggling Peterborough Petes 3-0 in the Ontario Hockey League play Friday night.

The Petes were shut out for the second night in a row. They were blanked 7-0 on home ice Thursday night by the Plymouth Whalers.

Cizikas broke a scoreless tie with his fourth goal of the season just 3:08 into the final period and Cramarossa followed with his second of the campaign at 3:40.

"I just drove the net and Sutchie (forward Gregg Sutch) put the pass right on my stick," Cramarossa said.
