Tyler Kleven's eventful night against the Seattle Kraken earned him some supplemental discipline from the NHL.
The Ottawa Senators defenceman was handed a $4,166.67 fine by the NHL's department of player safety on Sunday for cross-checking Kraken forward Jared McCann.
It is the maximum fine allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Kleven was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct on the play which occurred late in the third period.
The 24-year-old defenceman finished the game with a goal, three hits and 17 penalty minutes in Ottawa's 7-4 victory.
