Canadian defender Luc De Fougerolles suffered an apparent ankle injury Saturday while playing for Dender EH in the Belgian league.
The 20-year-old hopeful for this summer's FIFA World Cup went down on a play in the box and eventually left the pitch in the 33rd minute during Dender's game against Sporting Charleroi.
It's yet another injury to Canada's back line ahead of this summer's World Cup as Alphonso Davies, Derek Cornelius, Moise Bombito, Alistair Johnston and Alfie Jones are all dealing with various ailments.
De Fougerolles was loaned to the Belgium club from the Fulham FC academy last summer and has appeared in 23 Belgian top flight matches, recording one assist.
