The AHL has postponed the start of the 2020-21 season for its Canadian Division, the league announced Monday.
The target start date and schedule for the clubs will be announced a later time.
Play kicks off for the rest of the league this weekend.
The AHL's new Canadian Division will feature the Laval Rocket, the Belleville Senators, the Manitoba Moose, the Toronto Marlies and Stockton Heat, the Calgary Flames' affiliate, who were granted a provisional relocation to Calgary for the season.
Earlier Monday, the AHL and the PHPA announced the ratification of modified terms of the CBA for the 2020-21 season.
