The Weeknd's show in London had an odd backstage policy that one upset fan said was "sexist."
A spy tells Page Six that during a party after the singer's "Starboy: Legend of the Fall" concert on Tuesday at London's packed O2 Arena, "They had all the girls who walked in check their phones with security," and, "They were being super strict."
But the source said male guests weren't subject to the same policy. "But guys had their phones! It was sexist [bleep]. They said it was 'no phones for girls' for privacy."
A source close to the singer tells us "security always checks anyone's phone who is a stranger — no matter who they are."
Either way, the irked guest said that "The Weeknd didn't even come" to the after-party in the end.
Opening acts for his hot-ticket show included rappers Lil Uzi Vert and Rich the Kid.
The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye ) is dating Selena Gomez after splitting with model Bella Hadid.
Gomez visited him in Paris earlier this month and has also traveled to see him play in Amsterdam.
The Weeknd played O2 Arena again on Wednesday.
