{allcanada} Senators' Borowiecki leaves game

Ottawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki left the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second period Saturday after he was injured falling into the boards.

Borowiecki left the ice with assistance at 10:56 of the period after he and Blue Jackets forward Brandon Saad were chasing the puck in the corner. Borowiecki lost his balance and hit the boards; he left the ice with a towel over the right side of his face.

Borowiecki, 26, has one goal and one assist in 57 games this season.
