DRUMMOND, N.B. - Anthony Beauvillier had a pair of power-play goals to lead the Shawinigan Cataractes in a 7-2 rout of the Drummondville Voltigeurs on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Alexis D'Aoust scored twice and added an assist for Shawinigan (37-16-4), while Samuel Girard scored and had two assists. Alex Pawelczyk and Dmytro Timashov found the back of the net as well. Philippe Cadorette made 32 saves for the win.
Michael Carcone and Jasmin Boutet responded for Drummondville (25-31-2), while Frederic Foulem stopped 31 shots.
The Cataractes went 3 for 4 on the power play and the Voltigeurs were 1 for 4 with the man advantage.

HALIFAX — Anthony Sorrentino had a natural hat trick to lead the Mooseheads past Sherbrooke.
Connor Moynihan and Kelly Bent also scored as Halifax (18-34-7) reeled off five unanswered goals.
Guillaume Gauthier opened scoring for the Phoenix (20-29-9).

MONCTON, N.B. — Mason McDonald made 42 saves as Charlottetown blanked the Wildcats.
Daniel Sprong was the lone scorer for the Islanders (28-24-7), who have won five straight.

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Hunter Moreau's goal near the midway point of the first period was the eventual winner as the Oceanic held off Victoriavilla.
Samuel Laberge and Carson MacKinnon also scored for Rimouski (31-19-6), while Deven St-Hilaire put the puck into an empty net.
Felix Lauzon replied for the Tigres (28-22-7), who have lost back-to-back games.
