Calgary Flames goaltender Karri Ramo has a torn ACL and meniscus damage in his knee and will miss the rest of the season, general manager Brad Treliving said Wednesday.
Ramo, 29, was injured in the third period of a 6-5 shootout win against the San Jose Sharks on Feb. 11.
Ramo has won 49 games for the Flames over the past three seasons; this season he had tied a career-high with 17 wins and had a 2.63 goals-against average and .909 save percentage in 37 games.
"We going to try to rally around this and for him," captain Mark Giordano said.
The Flames, who are nine points out of the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference, host the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday (10 p.m. ET; SN1, FS-N, FS-WI, NHL.TV).
