Miracle On 34th Street (1947)
Vancouver Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo was forced to leave the game Sunday night against the Winnipeg Jets at Rogers Arena with what appeared to be a lower-body injury.
Luongo was replaced by Eddie Lack at 16:30 of the opening period.
The Canucks announced via their Twitter account that Luongo was being evaluated by the team's medical staff.
Luongo is one of the goaltenders being considered to start for Canada at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. He helped Canada win the gold medal in 2010.
The 34-year-old is 16-9-6 with a 2.26 goals-against average and .919 save percentage this season.
