{allcanada} Carly Rae Jepsen to headline gay dance festival

Carly Rae Jepsen will headline the gay dance festival White Party T-Dance on March 31 in Palm Springs, Calif. The Grammy-nominated Canadian singer/songwriter will be joined on stage by such acts as Icona Pop and Carmen Electra. The festival runs March 29 through April 1.

Earlier this month, Jepsen announced that she would not be performing at the Boy Scouts of America's 2013 National Scouting Jamboree in Mount Hope, W.Va., this summer in response to the organization's ban on openly gay Scouts and troop leaders. The band Train also decided against playing the event for that reason.

Jepsen recently premiered the video from Tonight I'm Getting Over You, the new single from her debut album, Kiss. She's currently on the road with Justin Bieber.
