The Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday signed defenseman Francis Bouillon to a one-year contract extension through the 2013-14 campaign.
The extension, according to Dave Stubbs of the Montreal Gazette, is worth $1.5 million.
Bouillon, 37, has one goal, seven points, 48 hits and 30 blocked shots for the Canadiens this season. Bouillon, who is in his 13th NHL season and 10th with Montreal, has averaged 18:01 of ice time. He's registered 30 goals and 141 points in 704 career regular-season games.
