Montreal Canadiens defenseman Andrei Markov has signed with Vityaz Chekhov of the Kontinental Hockey League.
Markov, 33, has played just 65 games during the last three seasons due to knee injuries. In 11 NHL seasons, all with the Canadiens, Markov has 81 goals and 288 assists in 636 games.
