Canadian teenager Alphonso Davies might be set to make history.
According to Kristian Dyer of The Athletic, the Vancouver Whitecaps winger is "close" to joining Bayern Munich of Germany in a record-setting transfer.

Dyer reports that the Whitecaps and Bayern are "close" to getting a deal done for a base transfer fee of $12 million which would be a MLS record. There would also be bonuses based on performance, says Dyer.
The 17-year-old made his MLS debut with the Whitecaps in 2016 and played 26 games last season. Davies has scored three goals and added six assists over 20 matches this season in Vancouver.
With the team's permission, the Canadian men's national team player was away from the Whitecaps for Friday training and his status for Saturday's clash against the Seattle Sounders in "unknown."
