Bishop's University defensive back Jonathan Fortin has tested positive for a banned substance.

As a result, he will have his draft year deferred for one year, making him ineligible for the 2016 CFL Draft.

Fortin's urine samples were collected on March 9 at the CFL Regional Combine in Montreal, Quebec.

Should Fortin choose to pursue an appeal and win, he would be eligible for the 2016 CFL Supplemental Draft.
