The Toronto Blue Jays are shaking things up to try to break out of their four-game losing streak.

Acting manager DeMarlo Hale is using Jose Bautista in the leadoff spot for Toronto's series opener in Minnesota against the Twins.

Michael Saunders, who has been the Jays' leadoff hitter for the better part of the season, has been dropped to the fifth spot in the order.

Josh Donaldson remains second, with Edwin Encarnacion batting third and Justin Smoak fourth.

Troy Tulowitzki, Jimmy Paredes, Russell Martin and Kevin Pillar round out the order with Marco Estrada making the start.

The Blue Jays' offence has been dismal for most of the season, and produced just seven runs during a three-game sweep at home this week by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Toronto sits at 19-23, fourth in the American League East and 6.5 games behind the division-leading Orioles and Red Sox.
