{allcanada} Nilsen suspended from Firebirds for five years

The Ontario Hockey League and commissioner David Branch levied several punishments against Flint Firebirds owner Rolf Nilsen on Wednesday after they found that he violated an agreement that he signed last November.

Branch said in a statement that Nilsen would be suspended from the team for five years, the team must forfeit its first-round pick (third overall) in this Saturday's OHL Priority Selection, and pay a fine of $250,000.
