Vancouver Canucks forwards Brandon Sutter and Radim Vrbata, and defenseman Alexander Edler, have all been shut down for the season, the Canucks announced Monday.
Sutter was limited to 20 games this season and has been out since Feb. 9 with a broken jaw. He previously missed 33 games because of sports hernia surgery, and had five goals and nine points in his first season with the Canucks.
Vrbata has a knee injury that kept him out of the lineup Saturday against the St. Louis Blues. He has 13 goals and 27 points in 63 games this season after scoring 31 goals and a career-high 63 points last season.
Edler hasn't played since sustaining a fractured leg Feb. 9 against the Colorado Avalanche. He has six goals and 20 points in 52 games.
