SENATORS (37-25-11) at MAPLE LEAFS (27-42-6)

TV: CBC, TVA2

Season series: Ottawa Senators goaltender Andrew Hammond made 22 saves, forward Kyle Turris scored two goals, and defenseman Marc Methot had two assists in a 5-3 victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 21 at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.

Senators team scope: Coach Dave Cameron said he isn't sure who will start in goal. Hammond left practice with a limp and Craig Anderson (bruised hand) is closing in on a return. Anderson, who has been out for two months with the injury he sustained against the Maple Leafs on Jan. 21, took part in the optional skate Friday. Goalie Chris Driedger, who was recalled from Evansville in the ECHL last week, could start. Forward Clarke MacArthur (concussion), who has been out since Feb. 16, is questionable. The Senators and Boston Bruins each have 85 points competing for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference; Ottawa has played one fewer game. Hammond was pulled after allowing five goals on 22 shots in 5-1 loss to the New York Rangers on Thursday. It was Hammond's first loss (14-1-1) in regulation since taking over last month. Driedger made 10 saves in his NHL debut in relief.

Maple Leafs team scope: Goalie James Reimer will start for Toronto, according to TSN. The Maple Leafs recalled defenseman T.J. Brennan on an emergency basis and reassigned defenseman Andrew MacWilliam and forward Greg McKegg to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League on Friday. Toronto lost a season-high seventh straight regulation game Thursday, 4-1 to the Florida Panthers. In addition to forward Nazem Kadri serving the last of his four-game suspension, Toronto was without injured centers Peter Holland (lower body), Trevor Smith (lower body) and Zach Sill (upper body). Forward Casey Bailey made his NHL debut after signing as a free agent from Penn State University; he played 11:49. Goalie Jonathan Bernier was pulled after allowing three goals on 16 shots.
