{allcanada} Ryan Reynolds' first 'Deadpool' pic dares to bear

Ryan Reynolds spoofs Burt Reynolds in first Deadpool photo

It's Fiery Friday for all the Ryan Reynolds fans out there, as the actor just shared the first official photo of himself as Deadpool for the upcoming Marvel movie of the same name.

Reynolds posted the pic on Twitter, captioning it "With great power, comes great irresponsibility." The only thing that's irresponsible about this, however, is not doing a side-by-side with Burt Reynolds' infamous nude Cosmo centerfold from 1972.

The upcoming superhero movie stars Reynolds as Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary. "Deadpool" is an origin story of how Wilson was subjected to a questionable scientific experiment that left him with accelerated healing powers. The new abilities and a dark sense of humor lead alter ego Deadpool -- "The Merc with a Mouth" -- to hunt down the scientist who nearly killed him.

The film co-stars Morena Baccarin as Copycat, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust and Ed Skrein, whose role is not yet known. There is speculation that he's playing Garrison Kane (Weapon X). It hits theaters Feb. 12, 2016.
