1. I would have ripped audio from video DVD with DVD Audio Extractor
2. Then I would have made DVD-Audio from these audio files in any authoring software (i.e. Cirlinca products, or DigiOnAudio2 or discWelder CHROME)
IMHO there's no way you can "convert" .vob files to .aob
