{allcanada} So True? So False? Did Justin Bieber Break Up With Selena Gomez Via Twitter?!

Is this some kind of cruel joke?!

Our jaws dropped when we read that Justin Bieber decided to call it quits with longtime girlfriend Selena Gomez, and over a tweet no less! (Way worse than a Post-It, if you ask us.)

"Thank you for the time I had with you but now I have to move on," the tweet—which has since been deleted—read. So what does that mean?!

Are one of Hollywood's top couples really done? Are the PDA pics never to be seen again?

Try to gain control of that Bieber fever, lovebirds, because this rumor is...

So false! Whew!

The "Boyfriend" singer's rep told Gossip Cop that it was a "fake tweet—never on his account or from him."

It might sound like someone's just doing some damage control, but that's not the case here. A website called Celebrity Tweet archives all of the different posts celebs send out on their Twitter handle (even the deleted ones), and that mysterious breakup tweet is nowhere to be found.

Super weird, huh?

At least Jelena is still going strong, that's all that matters.
