After five years in Montreal, Kerry Carter's days with the Alouettes appear to be over.
According to RDS.ca in Montreal, the Alouettes released the non-import running back on Saturday.
Last season, the Stanford product caught 20 passes for 220 yards.
The five-year veteran was drafted by the Alouettes in the second round of the 2003 CFL Canadian Draft.
However, he spent two seasons with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and another with the Washington Redskins.
He joined the Alouettes in 2007 and finished his career with 295 yards rushing, 973 yards receiving and seven touchdowns.
