The Toronto Argonauts have reached a contract extension with star Canadian linebacker Cameron Judge, it was announced Monday evening.
Judge tallied 79 defensive tackles, three sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in 18 regular-season games in 2025 in his second stint with the Argos.
He was nominated as Toronto's Most Outstanding Defensive Player for 2025.
The 31 year old began his CFL career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2017 and played three seasons in Regina before joining the Argos in 2021. He then spent 2022 to 2024 with the Calgary Stampeders before making his way back to the Argonauts ahead of last season.
The Montreal native has a total of 435 defensive tackles in eight CFL seasons.
Meanwhile, the Argos also announced the singings of American running back Sam Hicks and American defensive back Owen Gross.
Canadian offensive lineman Darius Ciraco and American defensive lineman Derek Parish were released.
