NEW YORK -- Anaheim Ducks forward Nick Ritchie has been fined $4,121.86, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for cross-checking Montreal Canadiens defenseman Christian Folin during NHL Game No. 1047 in Anaheim on Friday, March 8, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 14:04 of the first period. Ritchie was assessed a minor penalty for roughing.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
