TORONTO — The Canadian Soccer Association has postponed a 10-day under-20 camp in Costa Rica due to flight restrictions caused by the Turrialba Volcano eruption.
The Canadian team was slated to play two friendlies in Costa Rica.
"We were looking forward to getting our squad back together, especially in CONCACAF conditions where 2017 qualifying is scheduled to take place," Canadian under-20 coach Rob Gale said in a statement.
The volcano is located 50 kilometres east of the capital San Jose.
