"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster and award-winning songwriter and music producer David Foster are divorcing, the two reveal in a joint statement Tuesday. After four years of marriage and nine years together, the couple is calling it quits.
"Sadly, we have decided to go our separate ways," they reveal in a joint statement to People. "We've shared 9 beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues."
An inside source details to Us Weekly that the relationship has been "rocky" since the Yolanda got sick in 2012 with Lyme disease. "She didn't think he was there for her," the source says. David has been sparing shown on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," which attributes his absences to a busy work schedule.
The reality star and former model has three children, Gigi, Bella and Anwar, with her previous husband, multi-millionaire real estate developer Mohamed Hadid. David has five children and has tied the knot four times.
The announcement comes just before the sixth season premiere of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The drama returns Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. PT/ET on Bravo.
