Jose Reyes is ready to return to the lineup. The Toronto Blue Jays announced the veteran shortstop has been activated from the 15-day disabled list.

Reyes has been out with a rib injury since April 28. He had been batting .250 with seven RBIs in 16 games this season.

To make room for Reyes the Blue Jays optioned Munenori Kawasaki to Triple-A Buffalo.
