The lowly Edmonton Oilers placed forwards Taylor Hall and Benoit Pouliot on injured reserve on Tuesday.

Hall has missed the last three games with a left ankle injury while Pouliot is sidelined with a foot injury.

The 23-year-old Hall has 11 goals and 19 assists in 42 games with the last-placed Oilers this season. Pouliot, 28, has 11 goals and six assists.

Edmonton called up forward Ryan Hamilton and goalie Richard Bachman to fill the void in the lineup.
