Eugenie Bouchard will have to wait until Thursday to play her second round match against eighth-seeded Angelique Kerber of Germany at the US Open.
The Canadian had her match cancelled for Wednesday after rain delayed play for most of the day. Tournament organizers still have first round matches to complete so all second round matches have been moved back for now.
Bouchard rallied for a 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 victory over Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic in the first round.
