Speak for yourself, sparky. I've done far more than bothered to try DPLIIx (Music) -- I've been playing pretty much all my 2.0 content through it for years. It's an excellent (and user-adjustable) product, and personally I prefer it to DTS Neo and Logic 7, the two other surround synthesis DSPs I've tried.

Hi Cheezmo
Your post is ill informed.. The Surround Master outperforms Dolby Pro Logic II on every level and really should not be compared with it. Dolby Pro Logic is a flawed product and performs poorly as most people who have bothered to try it know. The Surround Master is a quantum leap better and to my knowledge EVERYONE who has used the product is blown away by its performance or at the very least is positive in their comments. If your serious about great sound then you should get hold of one from the company web site and try it out. They give a money back guarantee so you have nothing toi loose.

You would probably do better (or at least as well) sticking with the Dolby Pro Logic II or dts variant that is likely already in your preprocessor or receiver if you want to manipulate your stereo in this way.

Re: [SurroundSound] Surround Master
Steven, i'm going to agree with you. There's a lot of 'talk' about that unit, but to be honest, it's flawed in many areas (i've read the test reports), plus i have serious doubts about the knowledge base of the team behind it.
