{allcanada} The Flames are having a difficult time trading Mike Cammalleri

The Calgary Flames would like to trade forward Mike Cammalleri at some point this offseason.

The only trouble is, nobody in the NHL seems to want to trade for him.

That's the message general manager Jay Feaster sent out on Friday morning when he told the media that he hasn't received any calls from other teams when it comes to Cammalleri.

He also said, via Stephen Whyno of the Canadian Press, that "my number is in the directory. Give me a call."

Cammalleri, currently in his second stint with the Flames, is entering the final year of his contract and counts $6 million against the salary cap. That's obviously a large cap hit for a guy whose production has been going down in recent years. In 2012-13, Cammalleri scored 13 goals in 44 games with the Flames.

After scoring a career-high 39 goals with the Flames during the 2008-09 season, Cammalleri signed a five-year, $30 million deal with the Montreal Canadiens as a free agent the following summer. He was traded back to Calgary in the middle of last season in exchange for forward Rene Bourque.

The Flames already made one significant trade this offseason by dealing Alex Tanguay and Cory Sarich to the Colorado Avalanche for David Jones and Shane O'Brien on Thursday. It was a deal that made them a little younger and bigger but may not have neccessarily made them any better.
