It may seem like he never left, but Justin Bieber is back in the USA.
Having brought his BELIEVE tour to Asia, Africa, Canada and Europe -- where he cavorted with a monkey, sparred with paparazzi and generally gave the tabloids endless fodder -- Bieber launches a new string of American dates June 22, in San Diego. And on Thursday, the world found out who will be supporting him on stage.
Hot Chelle Rae and Mike Posner will be his opening acts through July 20, with Rae and 16-year-old Aussie Cody Simpson doing the honors July 23-Aug. 5. For the final three scheduled dates -- Aug. 7, 8 and 10 -- Bieber will be joined by Simpson and Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande.
A limited number of tickets are still available. As previously announced,a dollar from each ticket will go to Pencils of Promise, a charity devoted to building schools and enriching education for children in the developing world. Hey, who said that the Biebs isn't a role model?
