OTTAWA -- Calgary bobsledder Rachelle Fleurant was handed a two-year suspension Wednesday for an anti-doping rule violation, the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport said in a release.

The athlete's urine sample from an in-competition doping control last October revealed the presence of prohibited anabolic agents (clenbuterol and oxandrolone) and a banned diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide), the CCES said.

In response to the notification of the adverse analytical finding, Fleurant acknowledged the violation and a hearing was held to determine the suspension length, the CCES said. An arbitrator imposed a ban that will end Oct. 20, 2014.
