Supermodel Carol Alt would like to sell her Tribeca apartment — but she's forever tied to it because of a thoughtful gift from her late brother, Tony.
"My brother — God rest his soul — gave me a housewarming gift of three closets."
At Petra Nemcova's "Graduation Gala" for the Happy Hearts Fund at One World Observatory, Alt told us that Tony, who passed away in 2005, "did the entire closet so I have shoe cubbies, shoe archives, boot cubbies [and] wall hangings of bags."
She added, "Every time I go into that closet I think of him. When I thought about selling my apartment once I just realized that I can't do it."
