The Toronto Raptors will meet the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The matchup was confirmed on Tuesday night when the Atlanta Hawks routed the Charlotte Hornets 103-76 to sew up the fifth seed in the East. They will play the Washington Wizards in the first round.

By virtue of the Bucks holding the tiebreaker over the Indiana Pacers, Jason Kidd's team locks up the sixth spot.

The Raptors went 3-1 against the Bucks in the season series, losing only the final game 101-94 in early March at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The bottom two spots in the East remain open heading into Wednesday night's final games.

The Pacers can clinch with a win against the Hawks, while the Chicago Bulls can punch their ticket with a win against a Brooklyn Nets team missing several regulars.

The Miami Heat remain alive, but need help for a postseason return. The Heat need to beat the Wizards and hope one of the Pacers or Bulls lose.

The Boston Celtics can clinch top seed in the East with a win over the Bucks or a Cleveland Cavaliers loss to the Raptors. The Cavs need a win and Celtics loss to return to the playoffs as the East's top seed.

The Cavs are expected to be without LeBron James for Wednesday's game.
