Edmonton Oilers young defenceman Oscar Klefbom should be ready to go Sunday night for Game 3 of their opening round series against the San Jose Sharks after leaving Friday's game with an injury.

The 23-year-old blocked a shot from Sharks defenceman Brent Burns during a penalty kill in the third period and was in pain as he left for the dressing room. Klefbom sat out the rest of the game as the Oilers would go on to blank the Sharks 2-0 to square the series at a game apiece.

Klefbom missed the team's skate on Saturday, but should be ready for Game 3 in California on Sunday, according to head coach Todd McLellan.

The native of Sweden is having a breakout season, netting 12 goals and 26 assists in 82 games in 2016-17, his fourth year with the club. Klefbom also has one goal this postseason.
