Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for elbowing against Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty.
The incident occurred at 19:36 of the first period of the game at Scotiabank Saddledome on Sunday. Tkachuk was not penalized on the play.
The Flames defeated the Kings 5-2.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: elbowing. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
